A great concept…now locally (with local vendors) downtown, near Neiman Marcus. We encourage all of our couples to check it out…as it could save you a lot of time as you plan the look of your day. Their service allows you to create Inspiration Broads for you wedding (and print them for a small fee). MPLS/ST. And we are so very, very excited to see our *Winter Wonderland* wedding featured!!!!! CONGRATS to Carolin & Shane for being selected!!! What a connected couple…you two were so much fun to photograph!!
Kristina hired us for their 2011 wedding weeks ago when Ben was in East Africa on an assignment for his graduate degree. It was fun to meet him and see what a great fit these two are!! Ben proposed to her in India where he purchased her unique, emerald engagement ring. These two are world travelers…and I’d suspect a lot of amazing trips in their future (yes…we’re available!!!).
What a relaxed & trusting bride. It rained…all day pretty much…and definitely put a damper on what they visualized for outdoor photography. Kristen & Ryan completely put their trust in us (thank you, thank you…we love that!!!), and even though it rained we were able to capture some great outdoor shots by being a bit creative.
Also…awesome floral thanks to Russel’s amazingness (Wisteria)!!! I could tell right away that Kristen put her trust in Russel…gave him a little direction (color scheme/etc), but not too much, and let him be creative. I see the best floral when brides do this—hire someone they like and trust and let them run with it.

She’s a Physician’s Assistant, he’s a (soon-to-be) Cardiac Surgeon. They just moved up from Texas as Jay was matched at the Mayo for his residency program. They wanted a small, private, intimate event with their closest friends & family. And that it was, as they embraced their new city (Rochester, MN) and celebrated at a historical mansion blocks from their new home.
This wedding was so personalized and full of meaning…we loved it. And literally, didn’t want to stop shooting!!
Jessica hired us over the phone…2 months prior to her date. Not our norm (and I’m sure not hers!!). We love how much she trusted us….and so very much hope they love their images & sprinkle them all over their adorable home.
