We were thrilled when Maple Grove Magazine called us to write a story…about us!! We love our Post-Wedding Shoots….which we realize isn’t as catchy as “Trash the Dress”….but it’s our mid-west/real version of it. Relaxed, romantic, fun, real….and all about you & your style. It’s amazing how relaxed people are where there’s more time and not it’s rushed….photos are so natural and real.
One of our goals in the next year or two is to do more of these shoots. We love our couple shoots. The majority of our couples are not models….and need a little direction. We love to help guide our couples, give them ideas… and make them look awesome.
We’d even love to expand this to our couples who’ve been married for a couple+ years. After marriage…so many of us have kids…focus exclusively on their photos…and forget about images of us. How about put on an awesome dress, heals/jeans, awesome top & heels or whatever is you…and do a shoot with your husband??? (Love the idea….please contact us!!)
We loved this shoot. Out in the fields in Maple Grove….relaxed & so much fun. We shot this about a year after their wedding….sometimes wedding days are just so busy, (especially if couples don’t see each other before the ceremony) that it’s awesome to do a shoot post-wedding. We know everyone likes to call these “Trash the Dress” shoots. We prefer a more toned-down Midwest version. We’re not into the mud & water…but love not worrying about getting the dress dirty & being creative.
Photographers on the coasts do Pre & Post/Bridal shoots all the time….and it’s a little less common here. But we love them and welcome all of our couples to do one.
We had a fresh approach to this album….minimal images with more impact. We love (and prefer) it..see what you think.
We are very excited!! For two reasons…
Our album company won the 2009 award for “Best Album”. A HUGE compliment in our industry. We switched over to Forbeyon over a year ago and haven’t looked back. It always seems to be true…you get what you pay for. More expensive…yes. But way ahead of their competition in quality, product & customer service. Most important…our couples love them.
Also a huge bonus that they chose one of our images to feature. Thank you Forbeyon!!! This album will be shown at trade shows and in magazines nationwide. We’re thrilled!!
Watermark outgrew it’s location in Wayzata Bay and has a new location across from Lunds in Wayzata. Brand new, custom built…and gorgeous. We were absolutely thrilled when the owner, Alexis, asked us to be their photography partner!!

Love this couple. I realize we say that a lot…..but we really feel fortunate to work with great people. Maria & Ben were a referral…we photographed Ben’s sisters wedding a few years ago. LOVE this family. And they have 2 more girls…so we hope to be seeing them more in the next few years.

Love this couple. She’s from North Dakota…he’s from Jamaica…they live in Stanford. They met at work in an elevator…and have such a cute story. They really could not be nicer people.
Love this venue. The Semple Mansion is one of my favorite venues in the Twin Cities to shoot…rain or shine we have awesome locations to shoot.
