We get so caught up in shooting this time of year, unfortunately are unable to BLOG all of our weddings. But looking back at the all the rain this year (on the weekends!!)…we just had to share a few from this wedding. Even with the rain…our couple made the best of it and allowed us to shoot in the drizzly conditions. We love that!!! Nicolle Sellers from Mother-of-the-Bride never disappoints and is on top of everything. And the girls at Bear Path, once again, provided a seamless wedding.

This was the Saturday the high winds/rain/tornado came through. Quite a few things had to be adjusted…Plan B’s had to be put by the wayside and Plan C & D’s were put into place. The outdoor ceremony was delayed and moved inside. And at one point we didn’t know if the dance & band under the tent outdoors would happen. One of the guests said to me how it’s kind of like marriage….you think it’s going to go one way and it goes a bit differently…but it all works out. And it did. It all worked out. This was an amazing wedding and we loved our bride Mallory for being such a trooper!!!
CONGRATS you two…we hope you love your images!!!!!

LOVED shooting this wedding…such a sweet, relaxed bride…who totally trusted us to do our thing & document her day. We love that. And the groom–well…Suter is now a household name in our home!!! Ryan plays for the Nashville Predators and played for the Olympic US Hockey team. CONGRATS on the silver metal Ryan…my boys think you are pretty cool!!

What a relaxed & trusting bride. It rained…all day pretty much…and definitely put a damper on what they visualized for outdoor photography. Kristen & Ryan completely put their trust in us (thank you, thank you…we love that!!!), and even though it rained we were able to capture some great outdoor shots by being a bit creative.
Also…awesome floral thanks to Russel’s amazingness (Wisteria)!!! I could tell right away that Kristen put her trust in Russel…gave him a little direction (color scheme/etc), but not too much, and let him be creative. I see the best floral when brides do this—hire someone they like and trust and let them run with it.
Here is what Kristen had to say:
“We just wanted you to know that we could not have asked for a better photographer! You made our day so special and you allowed us to just enjoy the moment! We loved each and everyone of our photos! They are absolutely breathtaking and you were able to capture everything… from the love we have for each other, the emotions from our family and friends and to every little detail throughout the day. We were seriously laughing and crying when we looked through all of our pictures. We were able to re-live our wedding day! Thanks again for everything and it was such a pleasure to work with you!”
